Terza tappa del progetto interculturale “Schio – Greater Manchester”, dopo Ìnsito (Schio 2024) ed Echoes (Littleborough - Greater Manchester 2025). BEYOND riunisce 12 artisti internazionali in un’esposizione che esplora lo spazio liminale tra memoria e percezione, trasformando lo Spazio SHED di Schio in un ecosistema artistico vivo e interconnesso. Ne emerge un’esposizione che lavora su transizione, ambiguità e trasformazione, dove il significato prende forma nel passaggio stesso tra memoria e percezione. Le opere si configurano come soglie e attraversamenti: dalla scultura alla pittura, dalla fotografia alla performance e alla sound art, i linguaggi si intrecciano delineando un panorama espressivo ampio e articolato. Il concetto di BEYOND indica il superamento di confini consolidati, svelando gli spazi che si collocano tra e oltre identità, geografie e schemi interpretativi noti. Invita il pubblico a abitare un terreno di transizione, dove l’incertezza diventa luogo di riflessione e il divenire stesso emerge come modalità di percezione e di esperienza. Il progetto si estende attraverso un programma di performance, incontri e pratiche condivise, in cui l’esperienza artistica continua a evolversi nei corpi, nelle relazioni e nel territorio. Le collaborazioni con Dance Well, il Teatro Civico e altre realtà culturali e associative ne prolungano l’esperienza, aprendo lo spazio della mostra a nuove forme di scambio, relazione e partecipazione. |
Third stage of the intercultural project “Schio – Greater Manchester,” following Ìnsito (Schio 2024) and Echoes (Littleborough - Greater Manchester 2025). BEYOND brings together 12 international artists in an exhibition that explores the liminal space between memory and perception, transforming Spazio SHED in Schio into a living, interconnected artistic ecosystem. The result is an exhibition centered on transition, ambiguity, and transformation, where meaning takes shape in the very passage between memory and perception. The artists’ works function as thresholds and crossings: from sculpture to painting, from photography to performance and sound art, different languages intertwine, outlining a broad and articulated expressive landscape. The concept of BEYOND gestures toward the crossing of established boundaries, revealing spaces that exist between and beyond identities, geographies, and familiar interpretive frameworks. It invites viewers to inhabit a terrain of transition, where uncertainty becomes a site of reflection and flux itself emerges as a mode of perception and engagement. The project unfolds through a programme of performances, encounters and shared practices, in which the artistic experience continues to evolve through bodies, relationships and the community. Collaborations with Dance Well, Teatro Civico and other cultural and organisations extend this experience, opening the exhibition space to new forms of exchange, connection and participation. |
