Che cosa significa andare oltre?
BEYOND esplora lo spazio liminale: quella sottile terra di nessuno che si colloca tra memoria e percezione, tra il visibile e la persistenza dell’invisibile. Trasformando lo Spazio SHEDin un ecosistema vivo e interconnesso, la mostra riunisce dodici artisti internazionali, invitati a concepire le proprie opere come soglie, attraversamenti e luoghi di relazione. In questa prospettiva, il silenzio e l’assenza non rappresentano un vuoto, ma diventano spazi attivi di possibilità. Accogliendo una visione hauntologica ispirata al pensiero di Jacques Derrida, BEYOND guarda al passato come a una presenza che continua ad abitare il presente: un’eredità invisibile che riaffiora nelle opere, invitando il visitatore a interrogarsi non solo su ciò che vede, ma anche su ciò che continua a esistere attraverso la sua apparente assenza. |
What does it mean to go beyond?
BEYOND explores liminal space: that subtle no man’s land positioned between memory and perception, between the visible and the persistence of the invisible. Transforming Spazio SHED into a living, interconnected ecosystem, the exhibition brings together twelve international artists, invited to conceive their works as thresholds, crossings, and sites of relation. In this perspective, silence and absence do not represent a void; instead, they become active spaces of possibility. Embracing a hauntological vision inspired by the thought of Jacques Derrida, BEYOND looks at the past as a presence that continues to inhabit the present: an invisible heritage that resurfaces within the works, inviting visitors to question not only what they see, but also what continues to exist through its apparent absence. |
